Ahmed Nazif

Ahmed Nazif, born on July eighth, nineteen fifty-two, is a prominent Egyptian politician and computer scientist. He is best known for his tenure as the forty-eighth prime minister of Egypt, a position he held from July fourteenth, two thousand four, until January twenty-ninth, two thousand eleven. His time in office was marked by significant political upheaval, culminating in the popular uprising that sparked the 2011 Egyptian revolution.

During his leadership, Nazif was also entrusted with the role of acting president of Egypt from March fifth to April fifteenth, two thousand ten. This appointment came as President Hosni Mubarak delegated his powers to Nazif while he underwent surgery in Germany, showcasing the trust placed in him during a critical period.
