Ai Kago

Ai Kago, born on February seventh, nineteen eighty-eight, is a multifaceted Japanese talent known for her work as an actress, singer-songwriter, and jazz musician. She first captured the public's attention in the year two thousand when she debuted as a fourth-generation member of the iconic idol girl group Morning Musume. During her tenure with the group, Kago showcased her versatility by participating in various sub-groups, including Tanpopo, Mini-Moni, and Morning Musume Sakuragumi, as well as several Hello! Project Shuffle Units.

In two thousand four, Kago made the decision to leave Morning Musume and subsequently joined the duo W alongside Nozomi Tsuji. However, her career faced a significant setback in two thousand six when she was suspended from her agency due to underage smoking. This incident led to her dismissal in two thousand seven, which forced her to part ways with both W and Hello! Project.

Despite these challenges, Kago made a triumphant return to the entertainment industry in two thousand eight, transitioning into acting with notable roles in films such as Kung Fu Chefs, Ju-On: Black Ghost, and Battle of Demons, all released in two thousand nine. That same year, she also re-entered the music scene, launching her solo career with the debut single 'No Hesitation' and later releasing her jazz album, Ai Kago Meets Jazz, in two thousand ten.

In two thousand thirteen, Kago took another step in her musical journey by forming her own girl group, Girls Beat!!, where she remained an active member until two thousand sixteen. Through her resilience and talent, Ai Kago continues to be a prominent figure in the Japanese entertainment landscape.
