Aiden McGeady

Aiden McGeady, born on April fourth, nineteen eighty-six, is a former professional footballer renowned for his dynamic playing style and impressive career across several top clubs. He began his journey in the Scottish Premier League with Celtic, where he achieved remarkable success, securing four league titles, two Scottish Cups, and one Scottish League Cup.

In two thousand ten, McGeady made a significant move to Spartak Moscow, transferring for a record fee for a Scottish player. His time in Russia saw him become a runner-up in the Russian Premier League, showcasing his talent on an international stage.

After his stint in Russia, McGeady transitioned to the English Premier League in January two thousand fourteen, joining Everton. During his tenure there, he was loaned to Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End, before ultimately signing with Sunderland in the summer of two thousand seventeen. Following five years with Sunderland, he joined Hibernian in June two thousand twenty-two, and in July two thousand twenty-three, he made a move to Ayr United.

Despite being born in Scotland, McGeady represented the Republic of Ireland internationally, qualifying through his Irish grandparents.
