His career spanned several decades, during which he made significant contributions to the performing arts, appearing in at least fifteen films from nineteen twenty-four to nineteen sixty-five.

He is particularly celebrated for his roles in notable films such as The Great Warrior Skanderbeg and Giorgi Saakadze. Khorava's artistic journey began with his studies at Kiev and Tbilisi Universities from nineteen fifteen to nineteen nineteen, followed by training at the theater studio of A.N. Pagava starting in nineteen twenty-two.

From nineteen twenty-three, he took on the dual roles of actor and director at the Sh. Rustaveli Academic Theater, eventually becoming its artistic director and director from nineteen thirty-six to nineteen fifty-five. His influence extended to education as well, serving as the Director of the Tbilisi Theater Institute named after Sh. Rustaveli from nineteen thirty-nine to nineteen forty-nine.
