She made her mark in the voice acting industry in two thousand seven, taking on significant roles such as Amuro Ninagawa in 'Kenkō Zenrakei Suieibu Umishō' and Su in 'Shugo Chara!'. Her remarkable talent was recognized when she was awarded 'Best New Actress' at the fourth Seiyu Awards in two thousand ten for her portrayal of Yui Hirasawa in the beloved series 'K-On!' and Kana Nakamachi in 'Kanamemo'.

In two thousand nine, Aki's musical career took off as she performed the opening and ending themes for 'K-On!'. That same year, she debuted as part of the musical group Sphere alongside three other voice actresses, releasing their first single 'Future Stream'.
