Akylbek Japarov

Akylbek Japarov, born on September fourteenth, nineteen sixty-four, is a prominent Kyrgyz politician and economist. He held the esteemed position of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-four, succeeding Ulukbek Maripov, who was appointed by President Sadyr Japarov on May fifth, two thousand twenty-one. In addition to his role as Prime Minister, Japarov also served as the Head of the Presidential Administration under President Japarov.

With a solid foundation in economics and engineering, Japarov has a rich history of public service. His career includes significant contributions in various economic roles during the administrations of both President Askar Akayev and President Kurmanbek Bakiyev. Notably, he served as the Minister of Economy and Finance from March twenty-sixth, two thousand five, to December twenty-seventh, two thousand seven, a period marked by the aftermath of the Tulip Revolution.
