Al-Mustakfi I (Cairo)

Al-Mustakfi I, born on March twenty-third in the year one thousand two hundred eighty-five, was a prominent figure in the history of the Abbasid Caliphate. He ascended to the caliphate during a tumultuous period, becoming the third Abbasid caliph to be seated in Cairo under the Mamluk Sultanate.
