Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Al-Saadi Gaddafi

Al-Saadi Muammar Gaddafi, born on May 25, 1973, is a Libyan retired professional football player, film producer, and military personnel. He is known for having captained the national football team, a position that many attribute to the significant influence of his father, Muammar Gaddafi, who was the leader of Libya during that time.

In 2011, Al-Saadi held the position of commander of Libya's Special Forces and played an active role in the Libyan Civil War. His involvement in the conflict led to an Interpol notice being issued against him. Following his arrest in Niger in March 2014, he was extradited to Libya, where he faced serious murder charges. However, he was cleared of these charges in 2018.

Al-Saadi's life took a controversial turn when he became a central figure in the SNC-Lavalin scandal in Canada. In two thousand nineteen, the engineering giant SNC-Lavalin admitted to paying him twenty-eight million dollars in bribes to secure lucrative construction contracts in Libya. The scandal also revealed that the company had spent over two million dollars on his visit to Canada in two thousand eight, which included expenses for bodyguards, companion services, and even a significant amount for entertainment at a concert.

In August two thousand fifteen, a video surfaced that allegedly depicted him being tortured, highlighting the tumultuous nature of his life. After spending years in legal battles and controversies, he was released in September two thousand twenty-one and subsequently left for Turkey, marking a new chapter in his life.
