Al-Shadhili

Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Jabbār al-Ḥasanī wal-Ḥusaynī al-Shādhilī, commonly known as Sheikh al-Shadhili, was born in the year eleven ninety-seven. He emerged as a prominent figure in the Islamic world, particularly noted for his contributions as a religious leader and Sufi scholar.

Throughout his life, Sheikh al-Shadhili played a pivotal role in the spiritual landscape of Morocco. He is best remembered as the founder of the Shadhili Sufi order, which has had a lasting impact on Islamic mysticism and practice.
