Alana Beard

Alana Beard, born on May 14, 1982, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player whose impact on the sport is widely recognized. She began her journey in basketball at Duke University, where she played for the Duke Blue Devils, showcasing her exceptional skills and determination.

In 2004, Beard was selected second overall in the WNBA draft by the Washington Mystics, marking the beginning of a remarkable professional career. After several successful seasons, she transitioned to the Los Angeles Sparks in 2012 as a free agent, further solidifying her reputation in the league.
