Albert Shesternyov, born on June twentieth, nineteen forty-one, in Moscow, was a legendary figure in Soviet football, renowned for his exceptional skills as a defender. He played for CSKA Moscow and the Soviet national team, earning a reputation as one of the greatest defenders in the history of Soviet football. His career spanned from nineteen sixty-one to nineteen seventy-one, during which he earned ninety caps, a record that stood until the late eighties.
