Alberto Palacio

Alberto Palacio, born on January twenty-fourth, eighteen fifty-six, was a distinguished Spanish architect and civil engineer hailing from Sare in the Northern Basque Country. His formative years were spent in Gordexola, where his passion for architecture began to take shape.

Palacio pursued his architectural studies in Barcelona, later expanding his education in Paris. There, he delved into a diverse array of subjects, including mathematics, engineering, astronomy, and medicine, which enriched his understanding of the built environment.

Notably, Palacio was a student and disciple of the renowned engineer Gustave Eiffel, which significantly influenced his design philosophy and engineering approach.
