Alejandro Adem

Alejandro Adem, born on November twenty-fourth, nineteen sixty-one, is a distinguished mathematician and university educator currently serving as a professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of British Columbia.

In addition to his academic role, Adem holds the prestigious position of President of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. His leadership journey includes a significant tenure as the Director of the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences from two thousand eight to two thousand fifteen.
