Aleksandar Tonev

Aleksandar Tonev, born on February third, nineteen ninety, is a former professional footballer from Bulgaria, renowned for his skills as a winger. His football journey began at CSKA Sofia, where he showcased his talent before embarking on a loan spell at Sliven 2000. In two thousand eleven, he made a significant move to the Polish Ekstraklasa club Lech Poznań, where he quickly made an impact.

During his second season with Lech Poznań, Tonev played a pivotal role in leading the team to a runners-up position in the league. His impressive performances caught the attention of Aston Villa, who signed him shortly thereafter. In two thousand fourteen, he was loaned to Celtic, further expanding his experience in international football.

After his time in Scotland, Tonev transferred to Frosinone in two thousand fifteen, where he spent a year before moving to another Serie A club, Crotone.
