Aleksei Chirikov

Aleksei Chirikov, born on December twenty-fourth, seventeen oh three, was a prominent Russian navigator and captain whose contributions to exploration were significant during the early eighteenth century. He is best known for his role in the Great Northern Expedition, where he served as the deputy to the renowned Vitus Bering.
