Alenka Bratušek

Alenka Bratušek, born on March thirty-first, nineteen seventy, is a prominent Slovenian politician and economist. She made history as the first woman to serve as the Prime Minister of Slovenia, holding the office from March two thousand thirteen until May two thousand fourteen. Her leadership marked a significant milestone in the country's political landscape.

During her tenure, Bratušek also held the position of president pro tempore of the Positive Slovenia party from January two thousand thirteen to April two thousand fourteen. However, her time as prime minister came to an end when she submitted her resignation on May fifth, two thousand fourteen.

Bratušek's political journey continued as she took on the role of Minister of Infrastructure in two thousand eighteen, serving until two thousand twenty. After a brief hiatus, she returned to this important position in two thousand twenty-three, reaffirming her commitment to Slovenia's infrastructure development.
