Alessia Caracciolo, known professionally as Alessia Cara, is a talented Canadian singer and songwriter born on July 11, 1996. She first captured the public's attention at the age of thirteen by posting acoustic covers of popular songs on YouTube, including hits like 'Love Yourself' and 'Sweater Weather'. Her online presence led to a record deal with EP Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings in 2014, culminating in the release of her debut single, 'Here', in 2015. This track not only peaked at number nineteen on the Canadian Hot 100 but also became a sleeper hit in the United States, reaching number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

Her debut studio album, 'Know-It-All', released in 2015, achieved significant commercial success, peaking at number eight on the Canadian Albums Chart and number nine on the Billboard 200.
