Alex Band

Alex Band, born on June eighth, nineteen eighty-one, is a multifaceted American artist renowned for his contributions as a singer, songwriter, composer, actor, and record producer. He gained widespread recognition as the lead vocalist of the rock band The Calling, which emerged from Los Angeles. Band's powerful voice and emotive performances brought to life the band's iconic hit, 'Wherever You Will Go,' a song that dominated the Adult Top 40 chart for an impressive twenty-three weeks, marking it as the second-longest-running number one single in the chart's history.

The Calling's success was further solidified with their debut album, 'Camino Palmero,' released in two thousand one, which sold over five million copies globally and received Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. This album featured the popular follow-up single 'Adrienne.' Their sophomore effort, 'Two,' released in two thousand four, continued their success, selling over one and a half million copies and producing hits like 'Our Lives' and 'Things Will Go My Way.'

In addition to his work with The Calling, Alex Band has made a name for himself as a solo artist.
