Alex Howes

Alex Howes, born on January first, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished American former professional road racing cyclist. His cycling journey began in earnest when he turned professional in two thousand seven, but it was in two thousand twelve that he fully committed to the sport, joining the ranks of Garmin–Barracuda, where he would spend the entirety of his professional career.

Throughout his tenure as a professional cyclist, Howes showcased his exceptional talent and dedication, competing at the highest levels of the sport from two thousand twelve until two thousand twenty-two. His contributions to the team and the sport have left a lasting impact, earning him respect among peers and fans alike.

In two thousand twenty-three, Howes transitioned from professional racing to coaching, taking on the role of a cycling coach at Team EF Coaching. This new chapter in his career allows him to share his extensive knowledge and experience with aspiring cyclists, while also embracing the exciting world of gravel racing.
