Alex Nimely

Alex Nimely, born on May eleventh, nineteen ninety-one, is a former professional footballer from Liberia who made his mark as a forward. He is notably the elder brother of Sylvanus Nimely, who has represented Liberia on the international stage.

Beginning his football journey with Mighty Barrolle in Liberia and Coton de Garoua in Cameroon, Alex's career took a significant turn when he joined Manchester City in two thousand eight. Despite spending six years at the prestigious club, he found limited opportunities in the Premier League, making only one appearance. His time at Manchester City was characterized by loan spells at Middlesbrough, Coventry City, and Crystal Palace, where he sought to gain valuable playing experience.

In November two thousand fourteen, Alex signed with Port Vale, but his time there was short-lived and marked by dissatisfaction. After a year away from the sport, he made a comeback by signing with Romanian club Poli Timișoara in February two thousand sixteen. His journey continued as he moved to Viitorul Constanța in July of the same year, before heading to Norway to play for Stabæk in April two thousand seventeen.

In February two thousand eighteen, Alex transitioned to Finland, joining Honka. He later returned to England, where he signed with Kettering Town in August two thousand nineteen, marking another chapter in his diverse football career.
