Alex Telles

Alex Telles, born on December 15, 1992, is a Brazilian professional footballer renowned for his skills as a left-back. Currently, he plays for Botafogo in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and represents the Brazil national team. Telles began his football journey at Juventude, a club in Brazil's Série D, before making a significant move to Grêmio in 2013, where he was honored as the best left-back in the league.

In January 2014, Telles transitioned to Galatasaray in the Turkish Süper Lig, where he enjoyed a successful stint, securing multiple trophies including a league title, two Turkish Cups, and the Turkish Super Cup. His talent was further recognized during a loan spell at Inter Milan in the 2015–16 season, which paved the way for his next major career step.

July 2016 marked a pivotal moment as Telles signed with FC Porto in the Primeira Liga. Over nearly two hundred appearances, he solidified his reputation as one of the league's top left-backs, winning four trophies, including two league titles and a Taça de Portugal. In October 2020, Telles made headlines by joining Manchester United for an initial sum of eighteen million euros. Despite being born in Brazil, he also holds Italian citizenship but chose to represent Brazil on the international stage, making his senior debut in 2019.
