Alex Yee

Alex Yee, born on February eighteenth, nineteen ninety-eight, is a distinguished British triathlete and middle-distance runner. He has made history by becoming the 2024 World and Olympic champion in standard or 'Olympic' distance triathlon, marking him as the second man ever to achieve both titles in a single year.

Yee's remarkable achievements include winning the gold medal in the Men's Triathlon at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, alongside a silver medal in the same event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He also secured gold in the Triathlon Mixed Relay at Tokyo 2020 and a bronze in the same event at the 2024 Olympics, making him the most successful triathlete in Olympic history with two golds, one silver, and one bronze.

In addition to his Olympic success, Yee triumphed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, clinching the championship in both the men's and mixed team triathlon events. He is a double World Championship medalist in the World Triathlon Championship Series, having earned silver in 2022 and bronze in 2021. His first individual World Championship victory came in 2022 at the World Triathlon Sprint Championships held in Montreal, Canada.
