Alexandra Biriukova

Alexandra Biriukova, born on July tenth, eighteen ninety-five, was a pioneering Canadian architect and nurse whose contributions significantly shaped the architectural landscape of Ontario.

She made history as the first woman to join the Ontario Association of Architects, breaking barriers in a predominantly male field. Her remarkable talent is exemplified in her design of the residence for renowned artist Lawren Harris, showcasing her unique vision and skill.
