Alexandra Ianculescu, born on October twenty-first, nineteen ninety-one, is a talented speed skater who has represented both Romania and Canada in her athletic career. Originally from Romania, she immigrated with her family to Toronto, Ontario in two thousand one, where her passion for speed skating began to flourish.

In two thousand eight, Alexandra made the move to Calgary, Alberta, where she continued to hone her skills. By two thousand eleven, she was a proud member of the Canadian junior national speed skating team, showcasing her talent at two junior championships. As a senior skater, she competed on the World Cup circuit, specializing in the 500m and 1000m distances.

In a remarkable turn of events, Alexandra represented Romania in long track speed skating in two thousand sixteen. Her dedication culminated in her participation in the women's 500 metres at the twenty eighteen Winter Olympics, where she proudly wore her national colors.

After a successful career in speed skating, Alexandra made the decision to retire from competitive skating in two thousand twenty-one. She aimed to pursue a second Olympic appearance while also embarking on a professional career in road and track cycling. Currently, she races for a Dutch Elite women's road team known as NWVG-UPLUS, where she continues to strive for excellence in her new athletic endeavor.
