Alexandra Kosteniuk

Alexandra Kosteniuk, born on April twenty-third, nineteen eighty-four, is a distinguished chess grandmaster who has made significant contributions to the world of chess. Representing both Russia and Switzerland, she held the title of Women's World Chess Champion from two thousand eight to two thousand ten and claimed the Women's World Rapid Chess Championship in two thousand twenty-one.

Her impressive accolades include being crowned the European women's champion in two thousand four and winning the Russian Women's Chess Championship twice, in two thousand five and two thousand sixteen. Kosteniuk's prowess on the chessboard has also led her to victory in multiple team events, earning gold medals at the Women's Chess Olympiads in two thousand ten, two thousand twelve, and two thousand fourteen.
