Alexei Zhamnov

Alexei Zhamnov, born on October first, nineteen seventy, is a distinguished former professional ice hockey centre who made his mark in the National Hockey League (NHL). Throughout his career, he showcased his skills with teams such as the Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Boston Bruins, earning a reputation as a talented player.

Transitioning from player to coach, Zhamnov has taken on significant roles in the world of ice hockey. He is currently the head coach of HC Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), where he continues to influence the sport and mentor the next generation of players.

In addition to his coaching duties, Zhamnov has held prominent positions in management, serving as the general manager for both Vityaz Chekhov and Atlant Moscow Oblast. His expertise also extends to international competition, having previously been the head coach of the Russia men's national ice hockey team, where he contributed to the development of the sport on a global scale.
