Alf Prøysen

Among his most beloved creations is the character of Mrs. Pepperpot, known in Norwegian as Teskjekjerringa. This fictional character, featured in a series of children's books, established Prøysen as a prominent children's author. The series first appeared in nineteen fifty-six and made its English debut in nineteen fifty-nine, further solidifying his legacy in children's literature.
