Alfie Michaud, born on November sixth, nineteen seventy-six, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. An Ojibwe by heritage, Michaud showcased his talent during his junior seasons in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) before making a significant mark in collegiate hockey.

His collegiate career flourished with the Maine Black Bears, where he played for three years and contributed to the team's triumph in the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship. This achievement solidified his reputation as a formidable goaltender and set the stage for his transition to professional hockey.

In nineteen ninety-nine, Michaud embarked on his professional journey with the Vancouver Canucks' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch. He made his NHL debut that same year, appearing in two games for the Canucks. His career later took him to Denmark, where he played in the top-tier Danish ice hockey league, the Superisligaen, before retiring from professional play.

Today, Michaud shares his extensive knowledge of the game as the assistant coach for his alma mater, the Black Bears. Additionally, he runs a goalie school named Dream Catcher's Hockey, where he continues to inspire and develop the next generation of goaltenders.
