Alfreð Finnbogason

Alfreð Finnbogason, born on February first, nineteen eighty-nine, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Iceland, renowned for his prowess as a striker. Currently, he serves as the Sports Director for the Eliteserien club Rosenborg, where he continues to influence the sport beyond his playing days.

During his time with Heerenveen, Alfreð achieved remarkable success, finishing as the top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2013–14 season with an impressive twenty-nine goals. This remarkable tally placed him among elite company, as only Luis Suárez, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Jonathan Soriano surpassed him in Europe's top leagues that season.

Alfreð made his international debut for the Iceland national team in two thousand ten against the Faroe Islands. Over the years, he has earned seventy-two caps and scored eighteen goals for his country.
