Fried was also a passionate supporter of Esperanto, the constructed international language aimed at fostering global communication. He authored an Esperanto textbook and compiled a comprehensive Esperanto-German and German-Esperanto dictionary, first published in nineteen hundred and three and later republished in nineteen hundred and five, showcasing his commitment to linguistic unity.
