Ali Laarayedh

Ali Laarayedh, born on August fifteenth, nineteen fifty-five, is a prominent Tunisian politician known for his significant contributions to the country's political landscape. He served as the Prime Minister of Tunisia from two thousand thirteen to two thousand fourteen, a pivotal period in the nation's post-revolutionary history.

Before ascending to the role of Prime Minister, Laarayedh held the position of Minister of the Interior from two thousand eleven to two thousand thirteen. His tenure in this role was marked by efforts to stabilize the country during a time of political transition and unrest.

In February two thousand thirteen, following the resignation of Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, Laarayedh was designated as the new prime minister. He was officially elected to the position on March thirteenth, two thousand thirteen, reflecting the trust placed in him by the political establishment and the public.

A member of the Ennahda Movement, Laarayedh has been an influential figure in Tunisian politics, advocating for democratic governance and social reforms in the wake of the Arab Spring.
