Ali Nullmeyer

Ali Nullmeyer, born on August 21, 1998, is a talented Canadian alpine skier specializing in slalom. Her journey in skiing began at the tender age of eighteen months, when she first hit the slopes with her family. By the time she was nine, she was already racing competitively, showcasing her natural talent and passion for the sport.

Throughout her formative years, Nullmeyer trained with the Georgian Peaks Club in Collingwood, Ontario, and pursued her education at the Green Mountain Valley School in Vermont from grades nine to twelve. In 2015, she took a significant step in her career by joining the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, setting the stage for her future achievements.

In 2016, her skills were recognized on an international level when she represented Canada at the Lillehammer Winter Youth Olympic Games, where she earned a silver medal in slalom. This accomplishment marked a pivotal moment in her skiing career, further motivating her to excel.

Nullmeyer made her World Championship debut in 2017 at St. Moritz. However, her journey faced a setback when she suffered a severe injury while training for the World Cup opener in October of the same year, tearing both her right and left ACLs and injuring her left lateral meniscus. After a challenging recovery period that kept her off the slopes for a season and a half, she made a triumphant return to competition in January 2019, culminating in her World Cup debut that March.

In January 2022, Ali Nullmeyer was honored to be named to Canada's Olympic team for the 2022 Winter Games, a testament to her resilience and dedication to the sport.
