Ali Soilih

Ali Soilih, born on January seventh, nineteen thirty-seven, was a prominent Comorian socialist revolutionary and political figure. He rose to prominence as the third President of the Comoros, a position he held from January third, nineteen seventy-six until May thirteenth, nineteen seventy-eight.

During his presidency, Soilih was known for his radical reforms and efforts to reshape the political landscape of the Comoros. His tenure was marked by a commitment to socialist principles, which aimed to address the socio-economic challenges faced by the nation.

However, his leadership came to a tragic end when a French-backed coup d'état led to his ousting. Following his removal from power, Soilih was captured and faced brutal treatment, ultimately being tortured with a bayonet and killed while attempting to escape.
