As a member of Fémina Sport, a club established in nineteen eleven, Milliat played a crucial role in the formation of the Fédération Française Sportive Féminine in nineteen seventeen. She served as treasurer and later became its president in March nineteen nineteen, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to advancing women's sports.

In nineteen twenty-one, Milliat was instrumental in organizing the inaugural Women's World Games, which continued for four editions from nineteen twenty-two until nineteen thirty-four. Her influence extended beyond athletics; she also managed a French women's association football team that toured the United Kingdom in nineteen twenty, showcasing the talents of female athletes on an international stage.

In recognition of her contributions, a commemorative statue of Alice Milliat was unveiled on March eighth, twenty twenty-one, at the headquarters of the French Olympic Committee in Paris, honoring her legacy as a pioneer of women's sports.
