She is celebrated for her remarkable achievements, including winning a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics and her previous success as an indoor volleyball player.

During her high school years, Klineman showcased her exceptional talent by being named the 2006 Gatorade National Player of the Year. Her collegiate career at Stanford University was equally impressive, where she earned All-American honors four times and was recognized as the 2010 Volleyball Magazine national player of the year.

Transitioning to beach volleyball, Klineman continued to excel, earning a bronze medal with Team USA at the 2011 Pan American Games. In 2018, she was honored as part of the Association of Volleyball Professionals Team of the Year alongside April Ross, and she received the prestigious Best Blocker award in both 2018 and 2019.
