Aliya Garayeva, born on January 1, 1988, in Yekaterinburg, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, is a retired Azerbaijani individual rhythmic gymnast. She began her illustrious career representing Russia until 2005, before switching her allegiance to Azerbaijan from 2006 to 2012.
Throughout her career, Garayeva achieved remarkable success, becoming the 2011 World All-around bronze medalist. She also earned two European All-around bronze medals in 2010 and 2012, showcasing her talent on the continental stage. Additionally, she secured bronze medals at the Grand Prix Final All-around in 2007 and 2011, further solidifying her status as a top competitor.
Garayeva's accomplishments extend to her national achievements, where she was crowned the Azerbaijani National champion five times.
