Allahshukur Pashazade, born on August twenty-six, nineteen forty-nine, is a prominent figure in the Islamic community of the Caucasus. As the Shaykh al-Islam, he holds a significant position that encompasses the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Georgia, and various regions within the Russian Federation, including Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Karachay–Cherkessia, and Adygea.
In addition to his role as Shaykh al-Islam, Pashazade serves as the chairman of the Religious Council of the Caucasus. His leadership is pivotal in guiding the religious practices and fostering unity among the diverse Muslim populations in this culturally rich region.
