Allan Lichtman

Allan Lichtman, born on April fourth, nineteen forty-seven, is a distinguished American historian and political analyst. In nineteen eighty-one, Lichtman collaborated with Soviet seismologist Vladimir Keilis-Borok to develop the innovative Keys to the White House. This predictive model employs thirteen true/false criteria to forecast the electoral success of the incumbent party's presidential candidate. His interpretations of this system have garnered extensive media attention, particularly as he has accurately predicted the outcomes of most presidential elections since nineteen eighty-four, despite notable missteps in two thousand and twenty and two thousand and twenty-four.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Lichtman ventured into politics himself, running for a U.S. Senate seat in Maryland during the two thousand six Democratic primary, where he finished sixth.
