Alma Adams

Alma Adams, born on May twenty-seventh, nineteen forty-six, is a prominent American politician and artist, currently serving as the representative for North Carolina's twelfth congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously held a position in the North Carolina General Assembly, representing the state's fifty-eighth House district in Guilford County from her appointment in April nineteen ninety-four until her election to Congress.

Before her political career, Adams was a college administrator and an art professor based in Greensboro.
