Alvaro Načinović, born on March second, nineteen sixty-six, is a distinguished former Croatian handball player who made significant contributions to both Yugoslavian and Croatian handball. His journey began with his hometown club, Zamet Rijeka, where he made his mark by entering the Yugoslav First League in nineteen eighty-seven after a successful campaign in the Second League.
In the same year, Načinović achieved a remarkable feat by winning the IHF Men's Junior World Championship with the Yugoslavia U-21 team, triumphing over Spain in the final held at his club's home venue in Rijeka. His career continued to flourish as he joined RK Zagreb Loto in nineteen ninety-two, where he celebrated victory in the prestigious European Champions Cup.
Načinović's career also included a six-year stint in Slovenia with RK Pivovarna Laško Celje, alongside a brief return to Zamet before concluding his playing days at RK Crikvenica, where he spent five years before retiring in two thousand six.
On the international stage, Načinović was a key player for Yugoslavia, earning a bronze medal at the nineteen eighty-eight Summer Olympics.
