Alveda King

Alveda King, born on January twenty-second, nineteen fifty-one, is a prominent American activist, author, and former state representative for the twenty-eighth District in the Georgia House of Representatives. As a niece of the legendary civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., she carries a legacy of advocacy and social justice.

Alveda is the daughter of civil rights activist A. D. King and Naomi Barber King, which has deeply influenced her commitment to activism. She has made significant contributions as a Fox News Channel contributor and has served as a senior fellow at the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution, a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C.
