Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Aly Cissokho

Aly Cissokho, born on September 15, 1987, is a talented French professional footballer who currently plays as a left-back for the Thai League 1 club Lamphun Warriors. Known for his sprightly demeanor, Cissokho possesses remarkable speed and stamina, making him a formidable presence on the field.

His football journey began in his hometown, where he played for local clubs, including Blois Foot. In 2004, he took a significant step in his career by joining the professional club Gueugnon, where he honed his skills in the youth system for three years before making his debut in the 2006–07 season.

In June 2008, Cissokho transitioned to the Portuguese club Vitória Setúbal in the Primeira Liga. His time there was brief, as he soon moved to the league's defending champions, Porto. During his tenure at Porto, he celebrated winning the Portuguese league and cup double and experienced the thrill of competing in the UEFA Champions League for the first time.

After a failed transfer attempt to AC Milan, Cissokho signed a five-year contract with French club Lyon in July 2009 for a fee of fifteen million euros. His career continued to evolve as he was sold to Valencia at the start of the 2012–13 season and subsequently loaned to Liverpool for the 2013–14 season. Cissokho's international career also flourished, earning his first call-up to the French national team in November 2009 and making his senior debut in August 2010 against Norway.
