Amédée Ozenfant

Amédée Ozenfant, born on April fifteenth, eighteen eighty-six, was a prominent French painter, illustrator, art theorist, and photographer. He is best known for his significant contributions to the Cubist movement, where he explored the interplay of form and color in innovative ways.

Together with Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, who later became known as Le Corbusier, Ozenfant co-founded the Purist movement. This artistic approach emphasized clarity and simplicity, seeking to distill the essence of objects through geometric forms and a limited color palette.
