Amina J. Mohammed

Amina J. Mohammed, born on June twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty-one, is a distinguished Nigerian-British diplomat and politician. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of the fifth Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, where she plays a pivotal role in global governance and international diplomacy.

Before her appointment at the United Nations, Amina served as the Nigerian Minister of Environment from two thousand fifteen to two thousand sixteen.
