Amir Ghalenoei, born on November twenty-first, nineteen sixty-three, is a prominent figure in Iranian football, both as a former player and a distinguished coach. Currently at the helm of the Iran national football team, Ghalenoei has made significant contributions to the sport, showcasing his expertise and leadership on various platforms.
Throughout his coaching career, Ghalenoei has established himself as the most successful coach in the Iran Pro League. His tenure includes managing several notable clubs such as Esteghlal, Mes Kerman, Sepahan S.C., and Tractor. Under his guidance, two of these clubs achieved remarkable success, securing a total of five championships along with two Hazfi Cup titles.
Ghalenoei's experience extends to the national level, where he served as the head coach of the Iran national football team from August two thousand six to July two thousand seven. During this period, he led the team in the 2007 AFC Asian Cup, where they reached the quarter-finals.
