In 2016, Amna took on the remarkable role of leading the only women's cycling club in Gaza, providing a safe space for women to engage in cycling and promoting physical activity as a means of empowerment.

Her efforts did not go unnoticed; that same year, she was featured in the BBC News series BBC 100 Women, highlighting her contributions to both education and women's rights in a challenging environment.
