Amos Gitai

Amos Gitai, born on October 11, 1950, in Haifa, Israel, is a distinguished artist and filmmaker whose extensive body of work spans over four decades. Renowned for his innovative storytelling, Gitai has created more than ninety artistic pieces, including feature films, documentaries, television productions, and theatrical works. His films have been showcased in prestigious retrospectives at the Pompidou Center in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the British Film Institute in London.

Gitai's cinematic journey has seen eleven of his films featured at the Cannes Film Festival and the Venice International Film Festival, competing for the Palme d'Or and the Golden Lion, respectively.
