Amy Millar

Amy Millar, born on February fourteenth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a distinguished Canadian equestrian renowned for her prowess in show jumping. She embarked on her equestrian journey at a young age, quickly transitioning from a successful junior career to achieving remarkable feats at the Grand Prix level.

Millar made her Nations Cup debut for Canada in the year two thousand at the prestigious Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta. Throughout her career, she has secured over sixty top ten finishes with her notable horse, Costa Rica Z, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

In July twenty-sixteen, Amy proudly represented Canada as a member of the Olympic team during the Rio de Janeiro Games, riding her horse, Heros. Her competitive spirit continued to shine as she clinched the Canadian Championship title at the Royal Winter Fair in twenty seventeen and followed it up with a commendable second place finish in the same championship the following year.

As the daughter of the legendary Ian Millar, who has represented Canada in ten Olympic Games, Amy carries on a rich family legacy in equestrian sports.
