Anas ibn Malik

Anas ibn Malik, born in the year six hundred eleven, was a prominent Islamic jurist and muhaddith, renowned for his deep knowledge and contributions to Islamic teachings. His life was marked by a close association with the Islamic prophet Muhammad, which significantly shaped his understanding and dissemination of Islamic principles.

Affectionately known as Khadim al-Nabi, meaning 'Servant of the Prophet,' Anas dedicated a decade of his life to serving Muhammad. This unique position allowed him to witness and record many of the sayings and actions of the Prophet, making him a vital link in the transmission of Hadith.
