Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Anatoly Chubais

Anatoly Chubais, born on June sixteenth, nineteen fifty-five, is a prominent Russian-Israeli politician and economist known for his pivotal role in the privatization of Russia during the early 1990s. As a key member of Boris Yeltsin's administration, he was instrumental in transitioning the country towards a market economy and establishing the principles of private ownership following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Chubais held the rank of 1st class Active State Councillor of the Russian Federation and led the state-owned electrical power monopoly, RAO UES, from nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand eight. His leadership was recognized globally, with a two thousand four survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Financial Times ranking him as the fifty-fourth most respected business leader in the world.

In two thousand eight, he took the helm of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation (RUSNANO), a position he maintained until two thousand twenty. His influence extended beyond corporate leadership; in December two thousand twenty, he was appointed as a special envoy for the Russian president to foster relations with international organizations aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. However, he resigned in March two thousand twenty-two, becoming the highest-ranking Russian official to step down in protest against the invasion of Ukraine.

After fleeing to Israel in two thousand twenty-two, Chubais obtained Israeli citizenship. He has remained active in international circles, serving on the Advisory Council for JPMorgan Chase until two thousand thirteen and participating in the Bilderberg Club, where he was present for its seventieth anniversary meeting in Madrid in May two thousand twenty-four. That same year, he founded the Center for Russian Studies at Tel Aviv University and currently serves as an acting member of The Global Board of Advisors of the Council on Foreign Relations.
